BTC begins session with spiritual awakening prog

Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): As the new session of the Baptist Theological College (BTC) begins, a spiritual awakening programme was held from June 22 to 24. The programme was a special moment as the College community renewed and strengthened their spiritual life, stated a press release. It was even more meaningful for the 56 freshers who come to join the College this year to build up their theological, ministerial and spiritual life, it added.

Rev. J. Thungjamo Lotha and Rev. Zunecho Thingo were the speakers who spoke on various topics relating to the revival of spiritual life, overcoming temptation, bearing the fruit of the Spirit and the reward in heaven. Rev. J. Thungjamo Lotha, former NBCC Youth Secretary and presently working as missionary in Bhutan and Sikkim under One Challenge International, encouraged the College community not to yield to temptation but bear the fruit of the spirit and get reward from heaven. A Bible Study called ‘Acts 29’ was led by Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah and Khrotsolo-u Teno. Z. K. Pahrü delivered a short talk on spiritual gifts and the Holy Communion was conducted by Rev. J. Thungjamo Lotha at the end of the programme.
