BTCSA holds 27th Freshers’ Day

Pfütsero, June 25 (MExN): The 27th Freshers’ Day of the Baptist Theological College Students’ Association (BTCSA) was held on June 24 at Seoul Shimin Kuhe on the theme “Unwavering Faith.”   Liba Hopeson, the former President of BTCSA, was the guest speaker. He challenged the college community to have unwavering faith in God. He said that to have strong faith in God, one has to know God personally and not just know about God. “So often, it is in times of trial, one’s faith is tested. One only gets peace in life when s/he carries the cross as Christ is present in it,” he stated.   The guest speaker further affirmed that a Christian should not surrender to worldly forces nor be separated from it. “However, the beauty of Jesus has to be lived out to others through daily life and activities by living together with different people.”

The programme was chaired by Rheiweu Kreo and presidential address delivered by Muno Khiamniungan, BTCSA General Secretary and President respectively. Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah, the Principal of the college prayed for the freshers.   An entertainment hour followed, where varied and unique talents of the students were showcased. Altogether 60 freshers were welcomed to the college.
