To speak the truth by blood, it is a glory yet (but) bitter to hear. To the point and precise, as a Naga in all features of it’s existence would have the pleasure to share of what I feel, see andknow of our world of yesterday, today and tomorrow with our small country to our fellow citizens who is making the existence of our land and it’s race that-
1. Nagas are ignorant, simple, straight forward, brave and true in all aspects of their living since time unmemorable till before some 60 or 70 years old. That was our noble forefathers who created the history of the Nagas and is highly honoured by the universe of what and how the Nagas were once like.
2. It must be with the change of modern civilization that ourpeople became smart and became too oversmart with the rest of the developed countries that their ties, shoes, goggles,words, etc. are at the wrong places and timings where one laughs at the other for the wrongs, not knowing that he is not better than the other whom he was laughing at.
3. To me, civilization takes time for the change years upon years. How can a stone aged man get along with computer aged people? They need to learn many, many books. Followed by mutual relation and understanding. Due to differences of learning, wealth, technique, understanding, etc. our people has become narrow. They become egoistic, jealous, confused, etc. And the illusion is the present generation of our people. The shameless preachings and speeches does not permit the mind for free conduct of anything.
4. We are the victims of our deeds. People take advantage, us not knowing being fooled. Who is to be blamed. Let us imagine, 1st, money is the root, but you are the first one to create that division instead of unity.
5. Example, all the rich men owned big, big money, big, big buildings and area of land in Dimapur. I am not sure whether those acquired wealth are through black and white. The, what about the shares of those who are struggling in the villages whom we call ourselves as brothers or as Nagas are one. Is it by spirit that Nagas are one or by ghost. I am afraid, I would be shot for which.
6. Is it you and me who is creating our world. If we know what we are and also know what to do. Ohhowo! It is very regretting. Awake, arise! We shall move together to build our home. Our Naga Homeland.
