Mon, November 18 (MExN): Burmese Medium School was inaugurated at Longwa Village, Mon District on November 17.
In his inaugural speech, U Kyow Cir Tur Yinjong, headmaster, Burmese High school said the school was established since 1999 with the purpose of serving people and for better and easy communication between two countries especially people living in border area. The school has upto class eight in Burmese medium and have an enrolment of 220 students with five teachers, he stated.
Invocation and benediction was pronounced by Yona, Pastor, Longwa Baptist Church and Rev Nahngom respectively.
