Kohima, February 5: A reception programme for Baptist World Alliance (BWA) president Rev. Dr. John Upton and Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT) moderator Rev. Dr. Boonratna Boayen organized by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) in partnership with Kohima Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship (KBPF) will take place on February 10 at 5pm at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima.
Greetings will be shared by CCT moderator Rev. Dr. Boonratna Boayen and Rev. Bonny Resu, general secretary APBF. Introduction will be made by NBCC general secretary Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung, while the service will be led by Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, president KBPF. Scripture reading and prayer will be pronounced by Rev. C. Lima Sangtam, president NBCC. Song presentation will feature Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister’s Hill, Peraciezie Baptist Church, Sangtam Baptist Church and Union Baptist Church. Rev. Asangba Longkumer, pastor, Ao Baptist Church, will pronounce the benediction.
The reception programme is organized for the full time workers, deacons, elders, youth and women leaders to come and hear from the guest speakers and be acquainted with what is happening in the Baptist world today.
