Balijan, May 2 (MExN): Executives and members of the Balijan Youth Club conducted its second school visit of government schools at Karagaon LP School ,Karbi Anglong. Under the banner of corporate social responsibility, the club distributed various types of stationery items and gifts to the school children. While addressing the small meet, the president of Balijan Youth Club underscored that right of children to get free and compulsory education. It is the fundamental right of every child which empowers and enrich the value of education, he said. While maintaining that parents have the duty to send their child to the nearest school, he stated: “Education empowers students to stand on their own feet and reap the benefit of bright career in future.” Later, office bearers of BYC interacted with the teachers and asked about the facilities being availed by the students.
