BZ Entertainment launched the second phase of its district-wide street play tour to promote HIV awareness in Nagaland on October 10.

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 14 (MExN): BZ Entertainment has launched the second phase of its district-wide street play tour to promote HIV awareness in Nagaland. In collaboration with the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), the initiative will deliver 60 street performances across the state, with the goal of educating communities on HIV transmission, prevention, testing, and reducing stigma.
The tour kicked off in Dimapur on October 10, with performances at locations including Railway Bazaar, Notun Bosti near City Tower, Burma Camp Bazaar, Purana Bazaar Junction, and other public spaces across Chümoukedima and Medziphema. Each district will see 10 performances, reaching various local communities with vital information on HIV.
The street plays focus on the realities of HIV, addressing misconceptions about transmission and underscoring the importance of regular testing. To enhance the impact, NSACS has deployed its Mobile Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (MICTC) to each event, offering free on-site HIV testing and counseling services. Attendees can access immediate information, speak with professionals, and learn their HIV status in a supportive environment.
To sustain awareness beyond the performances, BZ Entertainment is providing attendees with contact information for local District Programme Officers (DPOs). This allows community members to follow up on any questions regarding HIV and seek ongoing support.
