Mokokchung, February 7 (MExN): ‘C’ Certificate Examination of NCC was held on February 6 and 7 at the office of 25 Nagaland (Independent) Company NCC Mokokchung. A total of 19 eligible cadets, including four girls, appeared in the examination, which had both written and practical.
A press release received here informed that the examination is the last of the tests for NCC cadets. On qualifying this examination, the cadets are exempted from appearing written exam of combined defence services examination conducted by UPSC. The ‘C’ Certificate qualified cadets directly go for special entry system for NCC cadets where they appear in SSB (interview). 40 seats are reserved for this entry scheme.
In the last selection which concluded in January 2016, two girl cadets from Nagaland NCC group Kohima qualified for selection into Officer Cadre, the release added.
