DIMAPUR, MARCH 21 (MExN): NSS volunteers of C-Edge College Dimapur along with College NSS Program Officer, PP Dukpa participated in the 15th North East NSS Festival in Arunachal Pradesh from March 6 to 10 at Don Bosco College Itanagar. The theme of the festival was ‘Ek Bharath ,Shreshta Bharath’.
A press note informed that C-Edge College NSS volunteers along with Tetso College NSS volunteers represented Nagaland, showcasing the rich culture of Nagaland through traditional dance and folk song and also learning the cultures of other North Eastern States.
It was a rich learning experience with various speakers and resource persons who spoke on various relevant fields for the NSS Volunteers. The volunteers had a chance to visit Jawaharal Nehru Museum and the Buddhist Monastery in Itanagar. Some of the Volunteers donated blood in the festival.
C-Edge College NSS has meanwhile acknowledged State NSS Officer, C Theyo for the opportunity to be a part of the Festival.
