Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): A ‘Naga Heritage Museum” was inaugurated at C-Edge College on April 18 by its principal, Dr Chubatola Aier.
An initiative of the college’s Department of History, the inauguration coincided with the observance of the World Heritage Day, informed a press release from the college.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Aier emphasised on the need and importance of museum as a way to preserve one’s culture and identity in this Post-Humanism period and in the future development as change in every society is a natural process.
Proposing the vote of thanks, Kaikho Loli, an Assistant Professor of History) acknowledged the college authority for giving the space and the opportunity to set up the museum.
He further extended the department’s gratitude to the Alumni and the students for contributing the artefacts and also their moral support.
