Kisama, November 30 (MExN): The Cafe Hornbill at Kisama was formally inaugurated by the Advisor, Department of Land Resources, G Ikuto Zhimomi in the presence of Abu Metha, Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman, IDAN on November 29.

The Advisor in his address said Hornbill Festival has evolved into not only a cultural extravagant event but also the biggest industry in the state, providing employment avenues and other benefits, a DIPR report stated. He encouraged the youth and youngsters of the state to embrace modern practices of farming and enter into coffee entrepreneurship from modernized farming to marketing level with seriousness.

Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman IDAN, Abu Metha lauded the Architect Richard Belho and team for successful completion of Project Cafe Hornbill in just 14 days. He said that Hornbill Festival is not just a hub like the past, but has reached to its greater heights globally with the support of the state government. Abu said that Nagaland Coffee has become brand ambassador of Nagaland and expressed hope that Nagaland coffee would get more recognition at the international level.

The inaugural programme was chaired by Commissioner & Secretary, H&FW, V Kezo while vote of thanks by Director, Land Resources, Albert Ngullie.
