Dimapur, November 19 (MExN): The Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India observed Audit Diwas on November 16, followed by an Audit Awareness Week across the Country.
In an update received here, it stated that the AG (Audit) and AG (Accounts & Entitlement) offices are set to organise a series of Outreach Activities and External Workshops as part of the Audit Awareness Week.
An outreach programme on Public Entitlement Functions programme aimed at raising awareness and assisting the public on various entitlement-related matters—including pension and related queries (ROP), GPF (including online GPF Statement), missing credits/debits, payslips, pay fixation and options under FR 22 I(a)(i), and final leave encashment will be conducted at the DC Conference Hall, DC Office in Wokha on November 21 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
During the programme, the office will also personally hand over the Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) to pensioners of the district. Pensioners and State Government employees are invited to attend the programme for grievance redressal and necessary clarifications.
It also informed that a workshop on the use of CAG Connect Portal (0105) for the State Government Departments will be conducted on November 26 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same Conference Hall.
It further stated that a workshop to enhance the accounting knowledge and skills of Divisional Accountants will be held on the same day from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the DC Conference Hall.
The workshop will focus on accounting rules, regulations, and procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of accounts maintained by Divisional Accountants in the State.
