Kohima, March 8 (MExN): The Chakhro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU) has urged the law enforcing agencies and the investigation team over the brutal murder of late Kevi Zakiesatuo on December 18 “without fear or favor so that the truth is unearthed without further delay and justice is done according to the provisions of the law.”
CAKU General Secretary Thejangulie Angami and Vice President Nilhoulie Nisa, in a press release maintained, while keeping in mind the three months time given for the SIT team, it reminded the concerned authority that the union has been closely following the progress of the matter and “appealed that the murder case is solved at the earliest without any further extension of time.” The union while acknowledging the investigating agencies for their untiring efforts to find out those guilty of the crime, also requested the authority to leave no stone unturned for the “truth about the crime regardless of whoever may have been involved in the case.”
It may be recalled that the case of Late Zakiesatuo’s murder still remain a mysterious to the people. CAKU thus appealed the concerned authority to put more effort so that the “culprit is brought to book and justice delivered on time.”
