Amidst the unprecedented COVID 19 pandemic that hampered the entire world which had adverse effect in the overall welfare developmental activities of our state, where people from across the all walks of life are left with shattered hopes and broken dreams, It is quite irony and surprised to witness the rift and power tussle amongst the state BJP party. a national party that plays a major factor and a strong coalition partner of the Government of Nagaland with a total strength of 12 legislative assembly members out of which 6 are state cabinet ministers.

Being a national party which is considered the best organised and the most powerful within the country currently the ruling party at the centre, we feel that it is the right time for the state BJP unit to uplift the citizens of Nagaland in all aspects of life. As stated by the state BJP party unit, party's policy at the state is carried out as per the directive of the central party leadership. We feel that it will be imperative on the part of the state BJP leaders to be disciplined, follow and abide by the party principles to be dutiful and accountable to the people by ensuring transparency and to formulate policies for the welfare of the Nagas, especially for the educated young Naga youths. Thus far what policies and programmes have been formulated by the state BJP party for the upliftment and welfare of the common people?? Has the party taken any innovative steps to tackle the problems of unemployment and against backdoor appointments?? Has the party taken any serious note on the present scenario and taken necessary steps to tackle the situation?? Has the party activities benefitted the people by introducing reforms in the existing government till date?

As a concerned citizen of the state our observation and hope that we ever dreamt and expected from a national party like BJP was far beyond imagination with Good days ahead of us, yet quite surprisingly it all happened to be futile promises.

With the slogan of "Change is coming" on the election manifesto, we are witnessing dramatic move for a change in leadership rather than change in the developmental process.
