Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): Rotary Club of Dimapur successfully conducted cancer screening camp in association with Narayana Health, Kolkata. A total of eighty patients were screened for head and neck and GI cancer.
Patients from various parts of Nagaland had come for check-up. A large number of patients already suffering from cancer were also examined.
Two specialist Doctors Dr Gaurav Kumar DNB (Surgery) and Dr Agniva Basu MS (ENT) from Narayan hospital examined the patients. Rotary Club of Dimapur is thankfull the team of Narayan Hospital for providing their services free of cost. Amit Gopindoa, Tridip and PB Roy from the management were also present.
Rotary Club of Dimapur in a press release acknowledged the District Administration, Department of Health and Family welfare and Nagaland Medical Council for providing the necessary permission for conduction the camp.
