Kiphire, June 26 (MExN): The Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees’ Association (CANSEA) central officials from Kohima held a discussion with Kiphire unit members and employees at GA Rest House, Kiphire on June 23 last.
As per a DIPR report, the programme attended by CANSEA President, Dr Ilang and Advisor, Dr Tali Ao was held with the theme, ‘re-organisation and revival of CANSSEA district units.’
The president informed that employees’ discontentment on matters such as delay in disbursing salary, and additional DAs have been appraised to the appropriate authority including to the Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner for prompt action.
Dr Ilang announced 50% of the subscription fees collected will be retained at the District CANSSEA units for office set-ups and to enable the unit members to manage TA/DAs on trips for official works. He encouraged the District unit members to be sincere to enable the officials at the center to stand firm for the rights of every employee in the state. Dr Ilang also urged the employees to download the CMHIS Card and avail the benefit of CMHIS.
Dr Tali Ao delivered a short speech and interacted with the employees. Former General Secretary CANSSEA Kiphire unit, Kirithong also spoke during the programme. Two representatives from each department under Kiphire attended the event.
During the meeting, new members for the CANSSEA Kiphire unit were unanimously inducted for a three-year tenure led by Lipichum as President, Tsupitho- Vice President, Yangtsapa- General Secretary, Bokali- Joint Secretary, Thsisepi - Finance Secretary, Yesumong - Treasurer, Yanghose Joint-Secretary.
