CANSSEA appeal for an “amicable solution”

Kohima, February 8 (MExN): The Confederation of all Nagaland State Services Employees Associations (CANSSEA), on behalf of all the State Services Employees has made a “sincere and fervent” appeal to both the government and the tribal hohos/civil societies involved in the ongoing affairs of the crisis for an “amicable solution” at the earliest.

CANSSEA stated that “the solution should be arrived at in the interest of the general public of the state with the true spirit of reconciliation and tolerance through peaceful means rather than through violence and vandalism which is an irreparable loss to the public property.”

CANSSEA, President, S. Takatuba Aier in an appeal note requested both the government and civil societies to exercise maximum restraint and tolerance in the true spirit of Christianity so as to usher peace and harmony in the state.

Keeping in view the end of the financial year and in particular, this is the time of school admission and exam season; the CANSSEA prayerfully appeals both parties to end the present conflict aiming at the social, economic and physical development of the state.

The Association also added that the ongoing state of locking offices is a huge loss to the general public as the majority of the public of the state depends on government salaries.
