The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) today paid a courtesy visit to the new chairman of Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and congratulated him.

Through a letter, it made a plea to the later for timely dispensation of pending DPC cases of state employees for the welfare of all CANSSEA members. CANSSEA enlightened about the procedural delay for both serving employees as well as the retiring employees due to want of DPC conducted by NPSC. “In this regard, we request you to kindly initiate for timely dispensation of pending DPC for all permissible promotion cases for both serving and retiring employees without delay,” stated CANSSEA in a letter addressed to the later.

CANSSEA stated that this will enable the serving officers to occupy the higher post for swift deliverance of public services and also enable the retiring officials to avail higher post as pension benefits before they retire.

Further, it requested NPSC chairman to take up the case of DPC against anticipated vacancies for enabling the officers concerned to take charge on the retirement of the outgoing officers. “We hope with your vast experiences and exposure in your 30 plus years in Public service would bring immense changes and streamline many of the issues that are yet to be done in the Apex Commission of the State,” CANSSEA stated.

CANSSEA also wished the later the best in deliverance of results without fear or favour as per the mandate of the apex state commission. The new chairman was very positive and assured that he will do his best to expedite all matters, according to CANSSEA officials.
