Mokokchung, March 26 (MExN): Training on capacity building of government employees in IT & digital services sponsored by Ministry of DONER was started at NIELIT Extension Centre on March 26.
A press release stated that Pangjunglemba, Chairman, VEC, Chuchuyimlang in his short speech acknowledged the Institute for conducting such capacity building programmes for the employees. He encouraged the trainees to use the facility availability at the Centre tolearn and upgrade their skills.
Jt. Director & Officer In-charge of the Centre, Daniel Meren while explaining about the training also spoke about the need to be at par in technology with others. He said that the plan to train 50,000 government employees by the Ministry of DONER across the eight NE States to transform India into a digital society can be achieved if such capacity building trainings are brought to the doorsteps of the government employees residing in rural areas.
He encouraged the trainees to empower themselves by seizing every opportune moment to learn and share their knowledge with colleagues and friends.
