Atoizu, January 28 (MExN): A specialised capacity-building programme under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme was held at Atoizu Sub-division on January 28 to strengthen the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) ecosystem.

The programme, organised by the Department of Industries and Commerce with support from the World Bank, focused on equipping MSMEs to manage businesses efficiently, entrepreneurship and business management, and digital marketing trends and social media marketing for MSMEs.

The two-day programme was conducted on January 28 at Jubilee Hall, Atoizu Town, and the KPA Indoor Stadium, Asukhuto Town.

Entrepreneurship trainer Shoremong Yim facilitated the sessions, elaborating on strategic business management practices and digital marketing approaches relevant to MSMEs.

Extra Assistant Commissioner, Atoizu, Dr Samuel Akho Konyak P, NCS, emphasised the need to foster an entrepreneurial culture and enhance digital competence among MSMEs to improve competitiveness and sustainability.

District Project Associate, District Industries Centre, Zunheboto, Khekevi Awomi, briefed participants on scheme-based opportunities available under the RAMP initiative.

Dobashis, representatives of the Atoizu Town Council, entrepreneurs and youth participated in the programme.
