
Lumami, January 23 (MExN): The ICT workshop on capacity building for academic and non-academic staffs and officers of Nagaland University commenced with inaugural session at the university headquarters in Lumami on January 23.
The two-day workshop is a collaborative initiative organised by Nagaland University in partnership with the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), stated a press release received here.
The workshop, guided by the vision of enhancing technological expertise, aims to provide valuable insights into computer technology for the academic and non-academic staff and officers NU, it stated.
Prof K Srinivas, Head of ICT Project Management Unit and chairperson of eLearning Cell at NIEPA, New Delhi, will lead the training sessions throughout the workshop. The inaugural session was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof JK Patnaik, who delivered an opening address highlighting the significance of capacity building in the realm of education.
Others present included Registrar Dr Abemo, Dean Prof VK Vidyarthi, Finance Officer N Albert Khizho and COE Yanrenthung Ezung, and faculty members and non-teaching staff as participants.Caption:
