The Capital College of Higher Education held its 9th parting social on March 23 at State Academy Hall, Kohima with the theme ‘Pursuit to Vertex’.

Sahisongla, Dean of students & Assistant Professor exhorted the students that one needs a positive attitude, patience, perseverance, commitment and hard work in order to be successful in life. She also wished the outgoing students success in their lives, informed a press release.

Thejoto Nienu, president of Capital College of Higher Education Students’ Union (CCHESU) in his valedictory speech asserted that young citizens have the potential and capabilities to be the harbinger of change at a time when the society is so fragile with no peace. Change, he stated, can only happen when “we get involved, get engaged and come together to reason for a cause.” Further, Nienu challenged the gathering to be realistic in their approach towards life.

Speech on behalf of the outgoing students and the juniors were delivered by Azuina and Vevotolu respectively, while Temsu shared his experience.
