Kohima, September 3 (MExN): The Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) Kohima held its first Graduation ceremony on September 2 at State Academy Hall Kohima.

Prof Zavise Rume, Director, Vocational Studies International University, Nagaland graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
In his commencement speech, Prof. Rume stressed on the importance of “Skills” in today’s education system. “Literacy will have no relevance without skills”, he added.

He encouraged the graduates to uphold the dignity of the degree they earned, to uphold the dignity of their degree in their conduct and conversation and to show themselves worthy of the saints.

Earlier, Dr Zokho Venuh, Principal CCHE congratulated the graduating batches of 2024 and 2025. He expressed happiness that the college has produced many responsible citizens and encouraged the graduating students to follow their senior's footsteps.

Speech on behalf of the valedictorians was delivered by Tovini Kiho (2024 batch) and Khrievizo Natso (2025 batch). Charge to the Graduate was declared by Dr.Rukulu Kezo Puro, HoD, Department of English. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Tatongkala Lemtur Lohe, Dean of Students, CCHE while Opangmenla Jamir, IQAC Coordinator, CCHE invoked God’s blessings.
