Tournament 2023: Liangmai FC, WSSA enter semi finals

Liangmai FC and Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA) today secured semi finals berth after winning their respective quarter final matches at the ongoing 7th edition of Capt Late N Kengurüse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Liangmai FC- 5, Tiema-Khe - 1
Liangmai FC defeated Tiema-Khe Kidima 5- 1 in the first quarter finals.
Weliso fetched a hattrick for Liangmai FC while Kenumdi and Wibonji contributed a goal each.
A lone goal for Tiema-Khe came through Kevisekho.
WSSA- 6, Medziphema Royal FC-5
In the second quarter final match, WSSA overpowered Medziphema Royal FC via tiebreaker 6-5 after the match locked in 1-1 draw within the regulated time play.
Earlier, Kevisanyu netted a goal for WSSA in the 24th minute and the equalizer for Medziphema Royal FC came through Diezevituo in the 66th minute.
