Tehok FC and St. Xavier’s College Jalukie today found semi finals berth after winning their respective quarter final matches at the ongoing 7th edition of Capt Late N Kengurüse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Tehok FC-3, Holy
Angels Sports-0
Tehok FC blanked Holy Angels Sports Team 3-0 in the third quarter final match.
Lohe opened the account for Tehok FC in the 8th minute.
Nisede and Manton added a goal each for the team in the 35th and 80th minute.
St Xavier’s College-4,
Beckon FC- 2
In the last quarter final match, St. Xavier’s College, Jalukie defeated Beckon FC 4- 2
Ipeuwangbe connected two goals for the winning team St. Xavier’s College in the 29th and 73rd minute.
Poulinlung and Irabeubo added a goal each for the team in the 8th and 59th minute respectively.
Kozo contributed both the goals for Beckon FC in the 7th and 44th minute.
Meanwhile, a trophy parade for public display will take place on November 8. It will enroute Lerie Junction to High School Junction at 10:00 am.
