Zunheboto, April 15 (DIPR): Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) conducted career guidance cum counselling for its students of Class X and Class XII on April 14 at Town Hall, Zunheboto.
Held under the theme ‘Retrospect and Reclaiming Our Future,’ the event had Emmanuel Hr Sec School principal, Dr. Vihuto Assumi, Major LC Singh of 5th Assam Rifles, and Anderson Theological College, Atoizu principal, Dr. Shitovi Yeptho as resource persons.
The speakers briefed the students on goal setting in various disciplines, which included secular, military and spiritual perspectives. The students were urged to work hard with determination to equip themselves more in the race for various competitive fields.
Competition in any discipline/field, the resource persons stressed, has become cut throat and only best among the best is selected. Therefore, the students were urged to equip themselves with skills and knowledge for one's survival.
The trio also exhorted the students to put God first in their quest for goals and follow one's heart to be better citizens in the society. The program was also attended by Lt. Colonel and 2 I/C 5th Assam Rifles, Gopa Kumar.
