Career guidance seminar held at Sazolie College

Kohima, March 15 (MExN): A career guidance seminar for BA final year students of Sazolie College, Jotsoma was conducted on March 9, at its college auditorium.  

In the first session, Robin Temsu, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Sazolie College spoke on the topic “Importance of Career Planning”. He mentioned that in order to select and choose the right career one should know one’s own personality, interests and abilities.  

Dili Khekho, Proprietor of D’ CAFE, Kohima, spoke on the topic “Entrepreneurship: Thinking Outside the Box”. “One has to do something different from what others are doing and that Government jobs are not the only sources of livelihood,” Khekho stated.  

Metevino Sakhrie, Joint Director, Information, Education & Communication of AIDS Control Society, Government of Nagaland, highlighted on “Opportunities in Mass Media”. She emphasized on taking pride in one’s own dialect and added that vernacular papers should be given due importance.  

The seminar was organized as one of the important activities under the IQAC of the College.
