
Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) in collaboration with Pinnacle Skills and Pro Rural organised ‘Career Guidance and Skill Development’ programme on March 25 at Town Hall here.
Dr. Yelhi Vero, Asst Prof., Peren Government College; Adahe Neli from Pro Rural; and James Kithan from Pinnacle Skills were the resource persons.
Speaking in the first session on the topic ‘Choosing a rewarding Career’, Dr Yelhi Vero stressed on the need to have faith in God in making every decision and to believe in the word of God, stated a press release received here.
In the second session, Adahe Neli spoke on the topic, ‘Understanding self interest and abilities, 1st step toward career building’. He exhorted the students to explore all the wide range of possibilities and make use of the various schemes and policies introduced by the government for the students.
James Kithan speaking on the topic ‘Skill Development’ highlighted the wide range of training facilities provided by the Pinnacle Skills centres. He emphasised that all the training programmes are free of cost and provided by the government in order to skill its citizens.
Gaitangliu Gonmei, TSUD Vice President chaired the programme, Azo Wetsah, President TSUD gave the keynote address and A. Shyerhunlo Lorin, TSUD General Secretary pronounced vote of thanks.
