
DIMAPUR, APRIL 29 (MExN): Nizams FC continued to lead the table after Match Day 4 of the Case Premier League at the Police Ground, Chumukedima on April 28. Nizams FC came back from behind to beat Natak FC 3-2. A brace from Viketo in the first half send Natak FC two goals ahead.
Nizams FC regrouped after the break reduce the margin through a tactical switch, super-sub Akato scored from his touch to reduce the lead.
Nizams FC was awarded a penalty, which Pele calmly scored by sending the keeper the other way, thus leveling the score. Nizams FC continued to dominate the proceedings and this paid off through a screamer from Akato from outside the D box. With that win Nizams FC remained unbeaten in the league.
In the other match, Teammate prevailed over Super Strikers 3-1, a brace from Lima Ao and Tsukjem returning them to winning ways. Kevichutou’s was the lone scorer for Superstrikers, who are currently at the bottom of the table.
Meanwhile, Case FC routed G Sports 5-1. A superb display of composure and clinical finishing from Akum, who claimed the first hat-trick of the season helped Case FC to go up to second. Case FC were fortunate to be awarded penalties on each half of the game. Goals from Awang and Kaisu completed the rout while Pokhitso’s goal was the only consolation for G Sports. Trinity Sporting also defeated Stafac 2-0. Goals from Lipok and Atokito helped Trinity to secure the third position at the end of the day.
