
Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): Cases of theft are on the rise in many localities in Dimapur and almost becoming a daily routine, alleged a functionary of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday, while appealing the district administration to check and nab the culprit (s).
This has became daily routine and happens everywhere specially in Westyard, Kalibari Road, Old Daily Market, Jain Temple Road, GS Road etc, maintained a press release from NPCC General Secretary, Rajesh Kumar Sethi.
As per the release, pipes and wires of outdoor unit of an air conditioner installed at one Zaria Fashion was recently stolen from Westyard Kalibari road and it was discovered when the owner started the AC and found the items missing.
It seems cut-outs of power supply, outdoor units of ACs, pipes and wires are regular items being stolen, it maintained.
It is humble request to the administrative authority to look into the matter as reparing AC pipes and wires are costly, the release added.
It further noted that people hardly complain to police regarding the theft but it has become a daily routine.
Accordingly, it highlighted the ‘administration need to check and nab the culprit so that people in Dimapur sleep in good atmosphere.’
