Peren, July 5 (MExN): The National Program for Control of Blindness & Visual Impairment (NPCB&VI) under National Health Mission Nagaland will be conducting a free cataract operation camp (Eye operation of visual impairment cases due to lens opacity) at District Hospital Peren from July 10 to 14. Suspected cataract patients who have not screened earlier may contact their respective Ophthalmic Assistants for screening at District Hospital Peren- 8787553408 and 9402642958, CHC Jalukie- 8974227495 and 985647680 and Tening @8730865914.
Further, all diagnosed cataract patients in the district willing to get operated are requested to contact- 8837483143 and 7628978561 for confirmation of availing the services during the camp so as to prevent inconveniences of arrangement at last hours. “To ease the burden of poor patients for availing the services, TR Zeliang, Dy CM will facilitate transportation of cataract patients in groups to attend the camp from various common transportation points which will be intimated individually once registered/confirmed through Tele-communication,” CMO office Peren stated in a press release.
