Joining the rest of the world, the Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (CBCK) today observed Father’s Day through special prayer for fathers and praise and worship songs.
CBCK senior pastor Rev Dr Kevekhalo Lasuh talked on the theme “Transformed Father” and commended the role and the responsibilities of fathers in the society.
Father's Day is celebrated across the world with the objective of realising and honouring the contribution of fathers in the society. The day is meant to recall, recognise and remember the endless efforts, initiatives and contributions of all the fathers around us.
The women department of CBCK offered gift to all the fathers present in the morning service in recognition of their commendable role and contribution towards a healthy and progressive family.
Later, Zhopota Rhakho spoke at the evening service.
M. Danyi Domeh and Vechisa Venuh led the morning and evening service respectively.
