Kohima, October 8 (MExN): Under the aegis the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK) a three-day Fathers’ Camp is all set to organized from October 17 to 19 at the Nagaland Police Baptist Church Association (NPBCA) Mission Centre, Chümoukedima, Dimapur, under the theme, “Chose life so that you and your children may live” (Duet. 30:19)
The Media Committee stated in a press release that Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, Sr. Pastor, CBCMHK, Rev. Wepre Mero, Pastor, CBCMHK, Dr. Adela Mero, Administrator, Rainbow Academy Resource Centre, Dimapur, Vimeno Lasetso, Associate Professor, Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, Husazu Epao, Principal, Patkai Christian College, Chümoukedima will be the panel of speakers while Dr. Husazulu Chuzho, Associate Professor, Discipleship Bible College, Dimapur will act as the leader of the Bible Study on “1 Kings Chapters 1 to 5” during the three-day camp.
“Biblical understanding of fatherhood”, “motivating children to pursue valued based education”, “family in the plan of God”, “fathers’ role in parenting and in church and society today”, etc will be the Sessional topics of the speakers while Bible Study, Gospel Worship service, Interactive session, Counselling, Recreational activities etc. will featured as the highlights of the camp. A sum of Rs. 300/- shall be collected from each camper as the registration fee.
Meanwhile a meeting of the camp officials will be held on October 10 next at the church premises by 5:00 PM where all the concerned officials are asked to attend the meeting positively.
