Kohima, November 25 (MExN): The dreams of a nation can be fulfilled when a man uphold the gentle words which ultimately begins at home by performing the responsibility of what a good father should act upon, stated Rev Dr Zelhuo Keyho, General Secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church (NBCC). He said, the progress and fulfilment of a society aims and aspirations lies with all mankind in dedicating and submission of lives to Almighty God and live to the fullest as deserved.
He was addressing the 2018 Men Fellowship Annual Day Cum Awards distribution ceremony of Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK) on November 25. Urging upon the men folk to live exemplary lives not only inside the church but outside the church adding men folk has a great role to play in shaping the nation’s destiny where all dedicated efforts rendered towards the society shall be richly blessed and their generation shall inherit the kingdom of God.
According to a press communiqué issued by 2018 Men Fellowship Annual Day and Sports Meet Media Coordinator, Kuzhovesa Soho, 23 & 24 witnessed the Sports events competition held at Jakhama Local Ground and the Men Annual Day was observed at the church.
Earlier, Rev Wepre Mero, Pastor, CBCMHK led the congregation, Rev Dr Vevo Phesao, Sr Pastor, CBCMHK pronounced a pastoral prayer, Muhusa Resuh, prayed for the offering, and Vemusu Cürha read the word of God. CBCMHK Youth Choir and Chandmari-PWD-Town area Men groups presented special praises.
Meanwhile, Vethikhoyi Khamo, Secretary, Men Fellowship lead the 2018 Awards distribution ceremony and prizes were handed over to the awardees by Rev Dr Zelhuo Keyho.
