CCHE’s annual fest ‘Trifecta’ concludes

Kohima, October 6 (MExN): A three day long annual college fest of the Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) Kohima billed as ‘Trifecta’ concluded on October 5 last.

On the final day of the fest, the students joined solo, duet and quartet singing competition.

College alumni also performed at the musical extravaganza. Renowned artist Vetholu Rhakho of 2016 batch sang her original song “Letters Not Sent.”

David Rutsa (popularly known as Coffee) of 2022 batch and his friend Rovi Metha entertained the crowd with beatboxing music.
David thanked the college for nurturing and helping him in his journey as a student and as a musician.

Tovini Kiho, aka Atiro of 2023 batch entertained the audience with her outstanding performance.

Maveto and Bummet of 1st semester performed a Hindi song while Murheo of 5th semester sang Josh Turner’s “Your Man.”

The college band wraps up the extravaganza by performing different songs which they sang during Inter College Band Competition, 2024.

Earlier, the musical event commenced with a prayer by Vevohu Kezo, vice principal, CCHE.

The annual college fest was started on October 3 with  Vezuhu Keyho, chairman, Governing Body CCHE as the special guest.

Wangshimongla, Asst Prof Dept of English chaired the inaugural session while Tatongkala L Lohe, Dean of Student, CCHE invoked God’s blessings.

In the debate competition, Thejoto Nienu, journalist, Eastern Mirror was the moderator.

The annual college fest was marked by choral competition on college anthem, screening of snip shot and monologue, debate, extempore speech, poetry recitation, essay writing, photography, painting and translation.
