DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 26 (MExN): The Chakhroma Christian Revival Church, Sub-Council: Dimapur (CCRC-SC) has strongly condemned the physical assault meted to one of its church worker, Neisatuo Shünyü of Sovima village, by two person claiming to be from the NNPG. The CCRC-SC in a press statement alleged that the victim was beaten mercilessly without any reasons in front of all the mute spectators in Chümoukedima town on October 22 at around 3:30pm. Raising deep concern on the high handedness by representatives of the Naga political groups, the CCRC-SC termed it saddening that even church workers are not spared these days. In this connection, the CCRC-SC has appealed the higher authorities of the NPGs to rein in their erring cadres as they bring bad reputation to the whole organisation, thereby losing public sympathy and support.
