The Centre Chakhesang Sports Association (CCSA) won the late Vedeyi Nienu Football trophy after defeating Secheku Range Sports Association (SRSA) 2-1 in the final match of the 36th Phek District Sports Association (PDSA) meet on March 27.
In the week-long meet, Chokri Area Games & Sports Association (CAGSA) topped the medal tally with 28 (10 Gold, 12 silver, 6 bronze) and won the Group champion title.
Chozuba Area Sports Association (CASA) came second with 18 medals (9 Gold, 4 Silver, 5 Bronze).
Football Association of Phek District (FAPD) president Colo Mero and FAPD vice president Vesupra Kezo gave away the prizes to the winners during the closing ceremony.
The meet, which started on March 23, was hosted by CAGSA and concluded today at Thenyizu village.
