Chumoukedima, June 21 (MExN): The Chumoukedima Chamber of Trade and Commerce Association (CCTCA) has reiterated the February 13, 2014 public resolution of “One Government, One Tax”.
While stating that it has come to its notice that some shopkeepers in Chumoukedima are paying annual tax to some Naga National Group, the CCTCA in a press release cautioned the shop owners paying tax stating, they will be doing so “at their own risk”.
Further, the association reminded shopkeepers not to sell goods above the maximum retail price (MRP). The CCTCA also asked pharmacies of Chumoukedima to keep qualified/eligible persons as well as proper certificates from the Medical Department of Nagaland.
