DIMAPUR, MAY 11 (MExN): The Dimapur Police today informed that the CCTV footage helped identify the vehicle which was involved in the May 8 hit and run case at Burma Camp, Dimapur which left one person dead.
One person was arrested in connection with the case on May 10. A press release from the PRO, Dimapur Police today identified the accused as one Bishnu Darjee (20 years) who was arrested and bought to the Traffic Control Dimapur for further investigation.
The Police said that the vehicle involved was identified through CCTV footage installed at various locations in the highway and the traffic police ANPR surveillance camera installed at 3rd Mile, Dimapur. The said vehicle Bolero pick-up bearing registration number BRO6GE 6956 was intercepted at Newfield Check Post by Traffic personnel.
