Tuensang, April 3 (MExN): In what can be termed as an unprecedented initiative, Tuensang DEF and the District Administration have installed CCTV at Khudei Police Assistance Booth (PAB). According to a press release from the DEF Tuensang, Khudei junction was chosen since it was strategically located at Mokochung-Noksen-Tuensang tri-junction. This would serve as a “boon” to commuters in the interior corner of the state, the release stated.
Meanwhile, the Tuensang DEF along with the SP Tuensang and his team of officers conducted a sensitisation programme on "Crime against Women" at Sao Chang (Govt.) College. The visit was undertaken as part of the Police outreach programme. Special emphasis was placed on sexual harassment especially highlighting the challenges face by young women when they venture out for further studies outside the state.
