Pughoboto, February 14 (MExN): Two newly constructed cement concrete roads in Tsaphimi and Ghokimi villages under the Asukiqa area, Pughoboto, funded through the MLA Local Area Development Fund (LADF) 2024-25 were inaugurated by MLA Dr Sukhato A Sema on February 14.
Additionally, the MLA inaugurated a multipurpose building for the Asukiqa area funded under SASCI Scheme (Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment) through Youth Resource & Sports Department.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Sema emphasised the importance of proper utilization and maintenance of the newly developed infrastructure. He encouraged the Public to take collective responsibility for preserving these public assets, ensuring long-term benefits for the community, stated an update received here.
Dr Sema also highlighted the importance of government schools and primary health care centres of the area. He urged the public to make full use of the available educational facilities, emphasising that quality education is key to the development of the community. He encouraged parents and stakeholders to support the Government schools and take an active role in fostering a better learning environment for children.
The inauguration programme was attended by ADC Pughoboto, Executive Engineer PWD Pughoboto, GBs, Asukiqa area Joint council, Asukiqa area Peoples Forum, Church Leaders and representatives from various civil society organizations.
