Zunheboto, November 23 (MExN): The 15th Central Review Mission team arrived at Zunheboto district for monitoring and supervision of health units in the district on November 21.
The CMO office Zunheboto in a press release stated that the CRM team was led by Dr Archana Patil ED, SHSRC Pune from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, accompanied by state officials from Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima. The team held a meeting at Sumi Kukami Hoho hall with Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent, District Programme Officers and staff from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Zunheboto.
The visiting team interacted and discussed with the district officials of various programmes under the department and made arrangements for the next day to visit the health units.
Dr K Akaho Sema, Dy CMO in a presentation gave an overview of Zunheboto district profile and key performance indicators.
The team will visit Chief Medical Officer office, District hospital and various health units. As part of the monitoring, the CRM team will interact with medical officers, health workers, ASHAs and stake- holders. The team will check reports, records of activities carried out at health units in the district.
CRM has been one of the most important monitoring mechanisms under National Health Mission (NHM) which has provided valuable understanding of the strategies which were successful and those which warranted mid-course adjustments in the Health Sector Reforms.
