DIMAPUR, MAY 15 (MExN): The delegation from Nagaland presently in Delhi to discuss the Indo-Naga peace process today met Union Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee. Informing of this, Nagaland Education Minister for Schools Imkong L Imchen said Pranab was quite sympathetic, sincere and compassionate towards the Naga issue. He told the delegation that both parties- the Centre and the NSCN (IM) - must seize the present opportunity to solve the long-drawn problem, Imchen said. The Union Minister is said to have told the delegation that he would share his opinion on the issue during the next cabinet meeting.
The delegation is likely to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition LK Advani tomorrow.
