CF Jalandhar gets its first full time Shepherd

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): The Christian Fellowship Jalandhar, Punjab under the aegis of Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM) successfully installed Tiaakum Ozukum as its 1st full time Pastor on October 8. A press release informed that the installation ceremony was graced by Rev. Andrew Semp, Director NMM who as the guest speaker. Emphasising on the importance of fellowship and one’s spiritual growth, he highlighted the mechanism of NBCC and NMM and their vision to reach out to different cities in India where Nagas are residing. He concluded his sharing by performing the installation ceremony and a special prayer along with the CFJ Executives for the newly installed Pastor.   The new Pastor also spoke on how God answered his prayers and his keen passion to work as Pastor with the CFJ family, the release said. Convener Seyievilie Pienyii noted how the CFJ was started in 2011 with the motto 'Marching Ahead with Christ' with the aim of uniting all the Christians studying and working in Jalandhar regardless of their background and denominations, it said. CFJ comprised of members from Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan and South India.
