CFC Nagaland organises Campus Base Youth Camp

Kohima, February 24 (MExN): Couples For Christ (CFC) Nagaland held the 1st Campus Base Youth Camp for the Students of Don Bosco College – Kohima, on February 23 and 24 at Mt. Tabor Retreat House Kohima.  

Mengukhrietuo Marcus, State Coordinator cum Chapter Head, CFC Nagaland in a press release stated that Youth Camp is the entry point to the CFC Youth for Christ (YFC), the Young Adults Program of the Couples for Christ (CFC), is the Youth Camp. It officially brings teenagers and/or young adults into an experience with Christ through YFC.

“It is venue for the young to form and build friendships with one another through sports, games. It is an opportunity for them to share their ideas and experiences, and entertain one another in a wholesome environment, where Christian values are talked about and are actively practiced,” Marcus stated.  

He also informed that it is the place where they will be stimulated and encouraged to develop their gifts and potentials for leadership as they are exposed to other young adults who are actively involved service. “This will give them opportunities to serve as speakers, facilitators, sports and games coordinators. This will also provide them to grow in other services that are essential to the life of the young.”
