CFD prays for peace and unity in Nagaland

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 11 (MExN): The Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) along with the office bearers and advisors met together at the Bethesda Higher Secondary School campus on August 8. In the meeting, Rev Moses Murry welcomed everyone and Rev Dr Tzudir invoked God’s blessings for the meeting. 

The Chairman prayed for peace and unity for Nagaland. He exhorted the members to continue to pray for sustainable peace and unity among all. 

The meeting decided that there will be a selection of new office bearers and Rev Dr Paphino was appointed as the Chairman of the selection committee. He also informed that the general body of the Christian Forum meeting will be held on August 30. He also spoke about the upcoming prayer fellowship with the Calvary Temple, one of the biggest community churches in the country. He proposed prayer fellowship will be held in the month of October. 

It was also discussed that there will be an upcoming Ecumenical and Inter–denominational prayer meet every second Saturday of the month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It urged all to pray for peace and unity in Nagaland especially among the political leaders and the Church leaders and for a lasting and sustainable solution to the political scenario.

With the consensus of every member Rev Moses Murry was appointed as the Convenor for the ecumenical prayer fellowship to be held in October. The benediction was done by Rev RP Murry, Advisor, CFD.
