Kohima, October 29 (DIPR): Zeliangrong Baudi Kohima (ZBK) will celebrate the annual premier festival Chaga Gadi/Langsimnyi on October 31, 10:00 am at Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) Solidarity Park, near NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima.
ZBK and the Organizing Committee of the festival have requested all the Zeliangrong people to come with traditional attire to the celebration. They have also invited all the Zeliangrong in-laws to attend the festival with their entire family showing their concern for their community.
Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya will grace the festival as chief guest and Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang will be the chief host. Zeliangrong traditional culture will be showcased in all seriousness by conducting several competitions. The competitions for traditional practice (Tapikawbo) Catching Mithun Head will be held among the men.
Zeliangrong people from Peren, Samjiuram, and Mhainamtsi will also take part in the celebration in Kohima.
