Kohima, February 12 (MExN): The Chairman of National Commission for Safari Karamcharis, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Manhar Valjibhai Zala and his team will be visiting Nagaland from February 16 to 19.
Besides other engagements, he will hold a review meeting on February 18 at 2:00 pm in the conference hall of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland to discuss the implementation of welfare schemes/programme meant for Safari Karamcharis- ‘The Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers their Rehabilitation Act, 2013’. The following members have been requested to attend the meeting positively: Director, General of Police, Nagaland; Home Commissioner, Nagaland; Commissioner, Nagaland; Principal Secretary, Urban Development & MAD; Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare; Principal Secretary, PHE; Principal Secretary, Works & Housing; Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce; Commissioner & Secretary, Power; Commissioner & Secretary, Labour & Employment; Commissioner & Secretary, Rural Development; Commissioner & Secretary, Social Welfare; Commissioner & Secretary, IPR; Additional Secretary,. Tribal Affairs and the HoDs of the above mentioned departments.
Thereafter a press conference will be held at 4:00 pm at the Chief Secretary’s conference hall.
