Chakhesang Baptist Church Minister Hill Kohima hosts Worship Concert

Chakhesang Baptist Church Minister Hill Kohima, Music Department enthralled the capital of Kohima with a Worship Concert tonight at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima. 

Senior Pastor Vevo Phesao while delivering a message called the attendance to become worshippers in truth and spirit while expounding how worshipping God can bear witness of change in the society. 

He spoke about the significance of the glorious reverence of Jesus Christ known to humankind and exalted through hymns. 
Standing in awe in amazement to accept Jesus as the king of kings and savior, Lord Jesus Christ has been there for centuries and generations and has reached our people in the manner that the gospel concert was being held, the pastor said. 

"The hallelujah invites us to worship the king of kings and lord of lords to worship his sovereignty and his rulership," he said. 

How great thou art, Phesao also opined was a song composed in the backdrop of a dark time the songwriter had experienced.

However, exalting God and redemptive work of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for the people, the pastor said these beautiful and significant hymns signifies how God uses these songs to show the love of God and reach out to people of different generations while reminding us the opportunity where we can come back to God. 

Pastor Phesao said worshipping God in this manner tonight is to declare the God is very much involved in the efforts of man and the humanity of our times because he reigns forever. 

Such worship, Phesao exclaimed is to proclaim our faith and love that Jesus Christ continue to reap over all of us. 

"Our worship like this to offer the highest order of praise, and also to celebrate our prayers, priorities, even our future.” He added that Genuine worshippers can bring change in our society, homes and families, system of government, our churches. 

As the theme of the Worship Concert, Glory Unveiled, over 80 Choir members led by Akhrou Veswuh, Music Director, and over 9 musicians took the attendance to engage in a Worship through Hymns, contemporary Christian music and Worship songs. 

The gospel concert was attended by people from various walks of life and communities.
