Kohima, February 2 (MExN): The Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) is all set to conduct its 26th Wrestling Meet 2018 from February 8 to 9 at Chetheba town with Nagaland Home Minister Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu as chief guest.
The champion will walk away with Rs. 1.50 lakh while the runner-up will be awarded Rs. 1 lakh. The 3rd and 4th place winner will receive Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively.
Categories for free style (men) includes: 57, 65, 74, 89 and 97 kg. In the women free style, the categories include: 50, 55, 65, 69 and 72 kg.
Weight measurement for free style of all categories will take place on February 7 at 2:00 pm. The inaugural function will start from 8:30 am onwards.
Reigning champion Vechita Khesoh will be torch bearer during the inaugural function.
